    Doctor Assistant

    Hey Y'all
I'm Brittany, I have been a team member of Confederate Ridge Animal Hospital for 3 years now and am very
proud to say that I work at an amazing hospital.  I was recently promoted to Doctors Assistant position, helping the Doctors and Technicians with anything needed. I was born and raised here in Fredericksburg, VA. I have a black lab named Cash and in my free time you can find me either hunting, fishing, or antiquing. I plan to further my career and later become a Veterinary Technician, pursuing my dreams.

Hi, My name is Arianna! I have recently joined the Confederate Ridge family and already feel at home. Everyone is so welcoming and loving here. I have one pet of my own, Sammi. She is a one year old lab mix that I adopted from the SPCA.  I am currently enrolled in Veterinary Technician School through Penn Foster. When I am not at work, I am either playing with my dog, spending time with my family, riding horses or studying.

    Ayla
    Doctor Assistant

Hey everybody! My name is Ayla. I joined the Confederate Ridge Animal Hospital team in 2024 as an assistant, and I’ve loved every moment of it. My passion for helping animals started when I was a kid, and being in this environment has only deepened that love. I’m currently pursuing a Biology degree with an Animal Health minor at Shenandoah University, where I also play lacrosse. After graduation, I plan to attend Veterinary School to fulfill my dream of becoming a Veterinarian and continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of animals and their family.

    Alex
    Kennel Assistant

Hi, I’m Alex! I work in the kennel at Confederate Ridge Animal Hospital, where I get to spend my days caring for animals—a true passion of mine. With a husband in the military, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of pets in different settings as we frequently relocate. Our most recent adventure was spending four incredible years in Japan. No matter where we are, my focus remains the same: creating a safe, welcoming environment for every pet in my care. I know how much your pets mean to you, so I treat each one like family, giving them the same attention and care I’d want for my own.

I thoroughly enjoy working here and building bonds with our clients and their amazing pets. When I’m not snuggling with your pets, I’m at home playing with my own mischievous boy, Blue. At 9 years old, he still keeps me on my toes in the best of ways. We enjoy exploring new trails and all that our ever-changing home has to offer.

I look forward to helping your furry family members feel comfortable and loved during their stay! And don’t worry—I’m fully stocked with treats and belly rubs.
